Georgian Supra: A Peripheral Pre-Party Dinner at BackBar on Friday, October 25th. Join us for a procession of Georgian style grilled treats with copious amounts of natural wine. The Supra will be lead by Zakary Pelaccio and a Georgian Tamada (toastmaster).

The Supra menu will feature:

Khachapuri: Georgian cheese bread

Wood oven baked focaccia

Local cheeses

Tomato salad, sunflower oil, Svanuri salt

Cucumber salad, blue fenugreek, minced green garlic, LJA vinegar

Purslane, lacto-fermented LJA vinegar

Wood oven roasted new potatoes, Vermont butter

Fresh, raw herbs and alliums

Grilled local trout

Chakapuli: a lamb and sour plum stew

Wood oven roasted chicken, garlic, marigold

With traditional Georgian condiments:

Tkemali - sour plum sauce

Ajika - hot sauce
